I got my start in my hometown of Nashville, TN – My first jobs were in and around the city’s famous music industry – creating music videos, documentaries, social content, and EPKs for Grammy and AMA award-winning artists, as well as their labels + management companies.  My work during that time could be seen on MTV, CMT, RollingStone.com, Vevo, PBS, and anywhere music was playing.

I moved to Los Angeles in 2016, and have built a career in post-production working primarily in the worlds of advertising + branded content, including 4+ years on staff at Emmy-nominated production house Hecho Studios where I often collaborated with creatives at the agency 72andSunny.  All in all, I’ve done work as an Editor + Assistant Editor for clients as varied as NFL, Comcast, Activision, United Airlines, Google, Foot Locker, Wendys, eBay, Adobe and beyond.  In fact, my work as an editor on the NFL “Football Is For Everyone” campaign earned a #2 spot on AdAge’s Best of 2021 list, as well as some Webbys and Shorty Awards – although, for me, the fund-raising that campaign did for the Trevor Project is the real highlight!

I’m also an award-winning writer/director with the DIY production collective I founded, Giantkiller.  My latest short film, Serious Matters in the Middle of the Night, screened at numerous film festivals all over the U.S., U.K. and Canada, won an Intertoto Award at Videodrunk 2020, a spot on Beyond Chron’s Best Films of 2020 list, and two nominations in the 2023 Best of NFMLA Awards, for Best Drama Short and Best Screenplay.  My work as a filmmaker also earned me a finalist spot in StudioFest 2021 and can be best summed up with this 48 Hills review of Serious Matters: “Driven by something money can’t buy: original ideas.”

I’m dedicated, versatile and organized with a high aptitude for collaborative storytelling, creative problem-solving, and working under rigorous deadlines.  If you need someone to go the extra mile to help you tell your story, then I’m your guy!
